The Way Station is a safe place where God’s people can find rest and wholeness in the Firm Hands of the Lord. It is a place where they can recover and be restored to God’s original plan for them.
On campus the disciples (those in residence) will gain a strong root system so they can withstand the storms of life (Jer. 17:7-8), learning to become a productive part of society. Our focus is to encourage and elevate newly released prisoners, homeless, former addicts, and struggling veterans.
It is our goal that after the disciples leave the Way Station, they will have a Kingdom mindset to go out, into their communities, among their family and friends… helping to disciple them. Upon graduation, we will assist them with employment and housing.
During their stay they will have one-on-one counselling, and mentorship from pastors, counselors, and seasoned Christians. They will experience daily classroom activities, and community work, where they will gain a desire to serve others. Families will also have the opportunity to participate in counselling, as well.
The disciples will know the truth of God’s Word to walk and live by. They will constantly be encouraged with the truth that they are set free by the Blood of Jesus, empowered by His Word, and Born again by His Spirit (John 14:15-17).
The Way Station is a mission field for the entire Ecclesia. As a non-profit, volunteers are always needed and welcomed to help serve in the fulfillment of this vision and mission from God (John 21:15-17).
Jesus said to them, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
